Re-Sizing A Fiverr Image...The Simple Way!

Has this ever happened to you, you want to do a gig on fiverr.com but you spend more time trying to find ways to re-size the image than actually trying to make money from the gig you want to do?

Fiverr.com's Image Rules:

Gig Images (you can upload up to three per gig) Must Be:
• JPEG format
• 682 pixels wide x 459 pixels high (minimum)
• no more than 2MB each
• "high quality" (seems to be up to the interpretation of the editors)
• related to or IS the service you are offering.

Your image cannot be a stock image or something you do not own the copyrights to use. It is highly encouraged you use unique photos for each gig; do not upload the same image multiple times, even on different gigs. - See more at: http://forum.fiverr.com/discussion/3178/gig-image-size/p1#sthash.vPUibWIS.dpuf

It seems that this site doesn't really want website noobies to be able post gigs, I know people who have issues with "Copy-Paste" and then you have to get all scientific to post a gig on fiverr.com!

I'm not sure exactly why fiverr.com thought to make things so difficult and then when I searched and searched for a long time how to fix this image problem I had seen people on fiverr.com selling gigs to people to fix the image size for them, $5.00 of course.

I have a simple solution to the fiverr.com image problem, I took out all the science to make it simple for anyone to do no matter what computer skill level.

Windows Paint
A: Open up Windows Paint, this software comes installed for free on all Windows Operating Systems.

B: You can use your own personal image, buy stock photo's or use images that just about anyone uses online. I have seen most of these images on multiple websites.

C: After you select an image you want to use go back to Windows Paint and select "File" then "Open" and choose the image you would like to use.

D: Once the image is loaded into Windows Paint simply click "Resize" and then select "Pixels" and then Un-check "Maintain Aspect Ration" and then put in Fiverr.com's image size 682-459

E: Once you have completed the above steps your Fiverr.com image will be ready for use, click on "File" again and then choose "Save As" and then name your image and click save and you are ready to use it for Fiverr.com easily.

Hope this helps,
Shaun
